While on a trip within the lush paradise of Costa Rica I was able to experience the stunning beaches and view the active volcanoes of Costa Rica. I was allured and intrigued by the mud baths the locals told me so much about.
The ancient mud baths have been around for centuries claiming healing properties and exfoliating benefits. In addition to relieving stress- purifying, exfoliating and softening the skin are just some of the many benefits associated with the clay.
After spreading a thin layer all over my face and body then allowing it to dry- you rinse off the mud. My skin felt fresh and rejuvenated, my spirit was relaxed and calm – it was truly a life changing experience!
Ever since, I have been passionate about bringing the clay back home to the States and Mia Bella was founded to not only introduce my friends & family to the Rejuvenating Clay but also to share the culture and provide meaningful support to a rural Costa Rican community.
